How to decide on an organizer to work with?
Be wary of someone who tells you exactly how much time
it will take to organize your closets before seeing them. If you have a lot of
clothes and shoes, a minimum of four hours could be required.
Don’t try to tidy up before the organizer comes. It’s
important for her to see the real state of the closets.
The organizer should be knowledgeable about products.
Do you need wooden or Lucite hangers? Should bins or boxes be fabric or
plastic?
A good organizer should always be one step ahead of
you, not waiting for your direction. It’s her job to make this a painless, not
torturous, process
A wise person once said, “The more things change, the
more they stay the same.” I am an organizer who works with my clients on
transforming their lives by making changes to your habits and your
environments. If you truly want your life to become more organized and to
effect a deep, profound, and long-lasting transformation, then you have to be
open to change – sometimes big changes, sometimes small ones. Opening up to
change can sometimes be tough, but I have many things I can do to make this
process a little easier. Contact me if you are ready to make a change!
